Community Preservation Committee Minutes 03/21/12

Present for the Community Preservation Committee and attending the meeting were:      Andy Goldman, Jane Slater, Tim Carroll, Warren Doty, Allen Healy, Karin Wetmore and Chuck Hodgkinson.  Janet Weidner and Pam Goff were absent.  

The meeting came to order at 6:00 PM.  Mr. Goldman was appointed as Chairman for the evening’s agenda.
$100,000 CPA APPROPRIATION AGREEMENT FOR THE RENOVATION OF THE HISTORIC TEA LANE FARMHOUSE:  The Committee reviewed a revised draft dated March 21, 2012.  After brief discussion a motion was made to accept the agreement as written.  The motion was seconded and unanimously approved with six in favor.  The Historical Commission will oversee the use of the funds.

CPA WARRANT ARTICLES FOR THE APRIL 23, 2012 ANNUAL TOWN MEETING:  The Committee reviewed the two CPA warrant articles for next month’s annual town meeting.  The Committee asked Chuck H. to provide an update of the       MV Museum’s project and funding from the other five towns before town meeting.

The Committee agreed the April 18th meeting will not be necessary.


The February 15, 2012 meeting minutes were reviewed and unanimously approved as amended.  

With no further business to discuss, the meeting adjourned at 6:28 PM.
